The scout of St. Elias inaugurated its annual summer club for the
children on Friday June 4, 2010. This club will go on until July 7, 2010.The program includes lesson in French and
English, and lessons in Music, computer, protocol and etiquette; in addition to
lesson in religion supervised by Sister Estiffani, along with handcrafts, drawing,
painting, games and films, which suit all the ages.
The objective of the club this
year is health in general, which will be given in four parts:
The First Week: Human
health and neatness, all the terms of this subject will be given in the French
and the English lessons. In addition to a visit to Hamol company to support
this part.
The Second Week:Human health and nutrition habits; this included many
activities:
1. A lecture by a nutritionist about the good and bad eating habits, in
every age.
2. A visit to Elegance and Pratik factories
3. A small lecture by Milo company about the benefits and the vitamins
found in Milo.The factory
administration gave the children some drinks and presents.
4. Our children made and baked pastries
The Third Week: How to
preserve and keep a healthy environment around us (home, school, the
street, …) . This week included the following activities:
1. A big game (Rally) for all children
2. The participation of the children and their parents in the Divine
Liturgy on Wednesday at 9 am in St Elias Church. Then they headed for Juicy
factory for pastries.
3. A remembrance photo was taken with his eminence, the parish pastor
Bishop Paul Yazigi
4. The Red Cross paid a visit for the club and gave a lecture about the
first aid for all the children
The Forth Week: How to keep and preserve plants and animal;
all the terms of this subject will be given in the French and the English
lessons.In addition to a visit for
Al-Bassel club for chivalry. All the people enjoyed water games. The practices
started for the final party of the club.
